Jesse Hawila is a certified broadcast meteorologist from the American Meteorological Society who currently works as a meteorologist and weather reporter for WFAA-TV, an ABC-affiliated television station in Dallas, Texas. Hawila started working as a roaster for the station in April 2015. He specializes in television and digital weather forecasting and reporting.
After completing his high school studies, Hawila enrolled in Ball State University and received a degree in meteorology.
Prior to joining the WFAA, Jesse worked as a meteorologist for WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He watched snowstorms and severe thunderstorms while he was there, with many of them appearing in the open. As a meteorologist, he began his career in Lafayette, Louisiana.
