In 2010 Cedric redshirted. Cedric started six of 10 games at guard in 2011 as a freshman. Ogbuehi started all 13 games at guard in 2012 as a sophomore. Cedric moved to the offensive tackle position in 2013 as a junior. The Walter Camp Soccer Foundation awarded Cedric first team All-America honors in 2014 as a senior. In the 2015 NFL Draft, Cedric was projected as a high first-round pick by various mock drafts as early as May 2014. In the first round (21st overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft, Cedric was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals.
