Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis in a hot on-screen kiss
It will make tongues speak. Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis lock lips in a beautiful girl-on-girl scene from their new movie Black Swan.
The two actresses play bitter rivals on stage who also share a twisted friendship in the highly anticipated thriller exploring the cutthroat world of ballet stardom.
But it’s the Hollywood scene we’re talking about.
Portman, 29, stars as a technically perfect ballerina chosen as the lead in a New York production of Swan Lake after the lead dancer, played by Winona Ryder, is unable to dance.
Portman’s character is driven by his overbearing stage mother, a manipulative (and lover) dance master, and an obsessive relationship with his backup dancer played by Kunis.
The thrills are heightened by the idea that neither Portman, nor the moviegoer, fully knows whether the Kunis’ evil intentions toward Portman are imaginary or real.
But the star chemistry is undeniably real in this scene.
Portman, who is a classically trained dancer, tried to downplay the scene with Kunis, telling MTV that “it’s by no means explicit.”
“It’s a very extreme movie,” she said. “It’s like very extreme situations.”
The film is creating a huge buzz as director Darren Aronofsky’s favorite in his follow-up to the critically acclaimed film The Wrestler.
Black Swan even had the honor of opening the Venice Film Festival on September 1.
