She is also known for her regular appearances on TV shows such as Uncensored, Starter Wives and Iyanla’s Fix My Life. Simmons began a relationship with DMX when she was eighteen, but the two met when she was just eleven.
Simmons was born and raised in the southern suburbs of New York called Yonkers. He grew up with both parents and seven siblings. Therefore, life for Tashera and her family was not so easy.
