On January 27, 2018, he caught three passes for 60 yards as part of Denver Broncos coach Vance Joseph’s North squad in a 45–16 loss to the Houston Texans head coach Bill O’Brien’s South team. In Indianapolis, he participated in the NFL Scouting Combine and completed all combine and position drills.
