John Gregory is an American journalist who currently works as a general-purpose reporter and co-presenter for ABC7 Eyewitness News, which joined the station in 2000. Originally from New York, his family moved to San Diego when he was a teenager. After that, he graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in political science.
He got his first job at KYMA in Yuma, Arizona, where he learned to anchor, produce, spin and edit his own stories. Later, he moved to KTNV in Las Vegas, Nevada as a presenter and reporter for the weekend. He then returned to San Diego for seven years as a reporter for KNSD before joining ABC7.
Over the course of his career, he has covered many stories, most of which made headlines. Covered the 2000 National National Congress for ABC7 eyewitness news.
