James Gregory is an American stand-up comedian best known as “The Funniest Man in America.” He has been practicing his own brand of unadulterated comedy for more than three decades.
James was born on May 6, 1946 in Lithuania, Georgia. He got his first job at a small holiday grocery store when he was twelve years old. After three years, he worked 37 hours a week, while also going to school.
Before discovering the amazing world of stand-up comedy, James worked for the Department of Defense, the United States Postal Service, and spent ten years as a salesman.
Gregory worked as a salesman until he was 36, when he started presenting comedians at the Punch Line Comedy Club in Atlanta. On February 17, 1982, James share on Punch Line.
