On October 5, Hamsa was placed on injured reserve and on November 4, 2021, he was activated. The Jets waived Hamsah on August 30, 2022, and he was signed to the practice squad the following day. On December 17, Hamsah was promoted to the active roster. The Jets waived Hamsah on August 6, 2023.
