Even though the 39-year-old actress plays her real-life boyfriend Ryan Gosling’s love interest in the new film The Place Beyond the Pines, she admitted filming the romantic scenes was still difficult.
She told Us Weekly magazine, “The love scenes are awful. Let’s just say. They’re always awkward.”
However, Eva says working with Ryan was great because he helped her improve.
She said, “We had known each other for years before filming. You can be friends with someone and not like the way they work, but I respect him so much. He definitely upped my game.”
Eva also recently said that she gets annoyed when people call her s-xy because there’s so much more to her than just looks.
She said: “Being s-xy is just one part of who I am – it’s one thing I can be. It’s a side of myself that I can tap into, just like I can tap into. my funny side, my eccentric side or my dramatic side is not who I am.
“I know I can do the kind of work where people will recognize me as much for my determination, sensitivity and humor as for being sexy.”
