In the team's 2020 season shortened by COVID-19, Connor led the Spartans with 65 carries and had two touchdowns and 200 yards with 18 receptions for two touchdowns and 71 yards. Connor moved from running back to H-back and tight end before his redshirt senior season. In his final season, he caught 35 passes for two touchdowns and 326 yards.
The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Connor in the sixth round with the 208th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
