She grew up on a dairy farm in Ridott, Illinois where she discovered her fascination with the weather. Candice attended Highland Community College in 2002 graduating with an Associate of Science degree in Meteorology. Later, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Northern Illinois University in 2004.
