Bianca Walkden Biography
Bianca Cook also known as Bianca Walkden is British taekwondo athlete and Olympian. She is best known as the first GB Taekwondo athlete to win the World Championship crown for a third time. In addition, Cook is also the winner of the four-time European champion and double Olympian. She recently won the gold medal in the women’s +73 kg competition in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Bianca started her professional career at the age of 11 when she went to a local club with her best friend. She then won her first bronze medal at the European Junior Championships at the age of 15. He then took a silver at the World Junior Championships before later qualifying for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Apart from this, Walkden also won the gold medal in the +73kg category at the 2015 World Taekwondo Championships in Russia. After that, she became only the second British woman to win a world title after Sarah Stevenson in 2001 and 2011.

After her success, she went on to compete in the 2017 Muju WTF World Taekwondo Championship and emerged as the winner. She also defeated American Jackie Galloway in the heavyweight division before later joining Jade Jones as the only British trainee.
