Wesley Ruff is an American reporter/sportscaster who has been with ABC 4 News since 1985. He previously worked at KFYR-TV, Bismarck, North Dakota. He attended Springville High School and Westside Elementary School. Later, he received a scholarship from the Utah Golf Association and an academic scholarship from Southern Utah State College, Cedar City. He also attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Despite this, Ruff has won many awards for his professionalism. He was voted Utah Sportscaster of the Year 5 times by his peers, namely 1998, 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008.
