Shayla Reaves is an American journalist currently working as an anchor and reporter for WCCO. He joined the station in December 2020. Previously, he anchored evening newscasts for WNCT-TV (CBS). Reaves is a native of Tennessee and prior to WNCT, she reported in Columbus, Ohio. Louisville, Kentucky, and most recently Tampa, Florida. During her time in Tampa, she reported overnight news for the market’s No. 1 morning show. In addition, she also appeared around the country for live reports as requested.
While in Ohio, Reeves won an Emmy for breaking news coverage of a train derailment and explosion. Shayla has also received awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Associated Press.
