Snook is looking forward to the arrival of her first child with husband Dave Lawson, whom she married in 2021 after a fast-paced romance. In a surprising twist, Snook was the one who proposed to Lawson. At the HBO season 4 premiere of the hit show in New York, the 35-year-old proudly displayed her baby bump.

The couple, both Australian actors, have known each other since 2014, as Snook shared with Vogue Australia. They fell in love together in quarantine in 2020, and as Snook explained, it was all about the perfect timing.

“We’ve been friends since 2014, lived together, traveled together, always great to see each other, but totally platonic. We were never single at the same time. I proposed and we got married in February in my backyard,” she revealed.

As Snook shares his joyful news, “Succession” is nearing its undoubtedly dramatic finale. Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, the actress mentioned that she didn’t know the show was in its final season until the final table was read in January.

“I was very upset,” Snook confessed of the revelation. “I felt a huge sense of loss, disappointment and sadness. It would have been nice to know that at the start of the season, but I also understand that I was not told until the end because there was still a potential that this might not be the end.

“Emotionally, we weren’t all necessarily ready to be done with the show because we love each other so much. But everything must come to an end, and it’s a good idea not to let something become a parody of itself.

Although the end is near for the cast and crew, audiences still have time to enjoy the series. The fourth and final season of “Succession” is set to premiere on March 26.
