Sandra Bullock Recalls Funny Mishap She Had While Filming Crazy Scene With Ryan Reynolds
Sandra Bullock has revealed the uncomfortable anecdote she had with Ryan Reynolds while filming a crazy scene in ‘The Proposal’: “I didn’t want to watch”.
“The Proposal” is one of the great classic romantic comedies that aren’t made anymore. It was released in 2009 and starred Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. The two actors have known each other since they were very young, so filming some of the more “racy” scenes sometimes brought them a lot of laughs. Sandra Bullock recently recalled a funny anecdote about her during an interview.
During this scene in the film, the character of Sandra Bullock (Margaret Tate), reaches for a towel as she gets out of the shower, and accidentally comes across the character of Ryan Reynolds (Andrew Paxton), who was undressed because he was just going to take a shower. Sandra Bullock recalled this scene during the About Last Night podcast with Adam Ray. And while this moment in the movie is hilarious, she confessed that the story of the set is even better.

The actress confessed that they had known each other since they were “preteens” and that she hadn’t dared to see Ryan n*k*d. Here are the words of Sandra Bullock:
“Anne Fletcher, our director who is just amazing, did a closed set, which meant no one was allowed to be there, just essential staff and make-up artists. Ryan and I had these flesh-colored things stuck to our private parts, my hair was strategically above my nipples and Ryan’s boyfriend, well not small at all, I don’t know because I didn’t look!” She started talking to Sandra Bullock between laughs, getting a little nervous.
“When they said ‘cut’, we couldn’t really move. He was on his back with his knees up, and I was on the floor leaning on his knees waiting and I didn’t want to watch because we could” I haven’t moved yet. So at that moment I heard the director’s voice in the dark saying, “Ryan, we can see your balls from here” and I was like oh my god! Because I didn’t want to look there. ”
As Sandra Bullock assures, she was very grateful that Ryan Reynolds was her friend, because otherwise the situation would have been much more uncomfortable: “It was with a friend I trusted and in an environment in which I felt safe.”
