Linval Clement Joseph is a popular American football defensive tackle who plays for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He played college football at East Carolina. He was selected by the New York Giants in the second round, 46th overall in the 2010 NFL Draft. Career Linval Joseph

The New York Giants selected him with the 46th overall pick in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft and signed him to a contract on July 31, 2010. Linval started all four of the Giants' 2011 Super Bowl victories, when they held the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons to an average of 14 points per game. In his first season as a Giant, he finished with eight combined tackles, six of them solo.

In his second year, Linval was moved into a full-time starting role starting 15 games and playing in all 16 contests. It started in Super Bowl XLVI as the Giants defeated the Patriots by a score of 21–17. On October 21, 2012, he fumbled and recovered, helping the Giants beat the Redskins 27–23 against the Washington Redskins.

On December 15, 2013, he recorded seven tackles and a sack against the eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks and finished his final season as a Giant with 59 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble in 15 starts. On March 11, 2014, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings to a five-year deal worth $31.5 million, including a $3 million signing bonus, $12.5 million guaranteed and an average annual salary of $6.25 million.

On August 5, 2017, Linval signed a four-year, $50 million contract extension with $31.5 million guaranteed with the Vikings. Linval started all 16 games, finishing second in the league in defensive tackles with 68 tackles. He was named to his second consecutive Pro Bowl on January 22, 2018, and was ranked 83rd in the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2018. In 13 games and starts, Joseph finished with three sacks, 44 total tackles and one forced fumble in the 2019 season.

The Vikings released him on March 13, 2020. He signed a two-year, $17 million contract with the Los Angeles Chargers on March 30, 2020. Linval appeared and started all 16 games in the 2020 season recording 62 total tackles on the year. On November 16, 2022, he signed a one-year contract with the Eagles. In the 2022 season, he appeared in eight regular season games for the Eagles recording 20 total tackles and 0.5 sacks. Linval signed a one-year, $3.72 million contract with the Buffalo Bills on November 2, 2023.
