CBSSports.com ranked Larry as the 15th best defensive tackle in the draft coming out of college and was projected to be a fifth or sixth round pick. Larry practiced well all week, received an invite to the 2017 Senior Bowl and played defensive tackle for the North in a 16-15 loss to the South. After Larry showed his talent at the Senior Bowl, he raised his draft stock. Larry completed all required combine and position drills and participated in the NFL Combine.
In the third round (65th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft, Larry was selected by the Cleveland Browns. On May 17, 2017, Larry signed his contract with the Browns, a deal that totaled $3.9 million. The Cincinnati Bengals signed Larry to a one-year contract on March 19, 2021.
