Jim Cantore is a renowned American meteorologist and journalist, best known for his work as an on-air weather anchor for The Weather Channel. He has worked for TWC since 1986. Jim is known for breaking down complex weather updates and events into comprehensive weather updates for the American people. Cantore is the best for live weather coverage of weather events such as Hurricane Floyd and Hurricane Katrina among other weather events. Previously, he worked for NBC Universal until his official retirement in 2008.
Cantore was born in Waterbury, Connecticut to a working-class Native American family that moved to White River Junction, Vermont.
