Brandon Butcher is an American meteorologist who currently works as the morning meteorologist at WSAZ since joining the station in 2011. He is a multi-EMMY award winning meteorologist, including Emmy Awards for Outstanding Weather Cast in Boston/News England Region.
Talking about his education, he attended a local high school in his hometown. Later, he attended Penn State University where he graduated with a degree in meteorology. Brandon is a member of the National Weather Service and the American Meteorological Society, both of which hold their respective “Seals of Approval.”
He is really excited to be with the morning crew at NewsChannel 3 and enjoys hearing from viewers. When he is not forecasting, he enjoys the great outdoors and being with his children. He can also be found at the gym working out or perhaps at a community event.
