Burke was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and participated Kennesaw State University to study theater and business. She made her acting debut in the films Daddy’s Little Girls (2007), The Secret Life of Bess (2008) and Mississippi Damned (2009), all of which she appeared in small roles. Making The Band 3, The Vampire Diaries, Drop Dead Diva and Army Wives are among her television credits, as is the VH1 film Drumline: A New Beat.
Jasmine also starred in LisaRaye McCoy’s 2015 independent drama film Skinned, in which she played the title role. Burke appeared in the Bounce TV drama series Saints & Sinners in 2016 alongside Vanessa Bell Calloway, Gloria Reuben and Clifton Powell.
