Isaac became the first true freshman to start at center since Roger Levasa in 1978 in his first season at Oregon State, appearing in all 13 games and earning All-Pac-12 Conference honors as well as Freshman All-American honors from CBSSports. com and College Football News. Isaac was selected in the third round (79th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles on April 29, 2016. Isaac played in 14 games in 2017, albeit after a poor performance in a Week 2 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs , was benched as the starting left guard in favor of Stefan Wisniewski.
