On May 18, 2016, Andrew signed a four-year, $2.87 million contract with the Bengals, which included a signing bonus of $535,845.

Throughout training camp, Andrew has been competing with DeShawn Williams, Domata Peko and Pat Sims for the starting nose tackle job. On August 10, 2016, he suffered a knee injury during Bengals practice and underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus on August 15, 2016. Andrew was placed on injured reserve for the season.
