Amy Adams admits to having a crush on Leonardo DiCaprio

Well adapted ! Amy Adams shows how to make dress work chic as she confesses huge crush on Leonardo DiCaprio

Turns out, Hollywood stars really are just like us — at least their teenage crushes are.

Amy Adams was once again on the promotional trail for her new film Nocturnal Animals.

Despite a long night with the film’s premiere and an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert – where she confessed to a teenage crush – the 42-year-old was ready to hit the ground running on Friday and looked great in New York.

The star joined his fellow Nocturnal Animals cast to meet fans and chat about the Tom Ford-directed feature film.

For the event, Amy dressed in a very office-ready look with gray wide stripe pants.

The Arrival actress paired the pants with a collarless silver silk shirt that provided the perfect backdrop for her flame locks.

Amy’s red mane was styled to one side and cascaded over her shoulder in shiny waves.

Laughing at fan questions, the star showed no signs of fatigue.

The actress has been on a non-stop promotional tour for the film and on Thursday night she stopped by The Late to chat with Stephen Colbert.

There, the star confessed that she once dreamed of having a Leo romance.

She told the host: “I had a huge crush on Leonardo DiCaprio. Not in Titanic, though, but in Growing Pains. Yeah, he was super young and really pretty.

Stephen asked the star if she had ever spoken to her Catch Me If You Can co-star about her feelings or had he found out via Thursday’s show.

Amy replied: ‘That’s probably how I tell her. ‘

But it’s over now: “I worked with him, I worked with him! Because nothing really kills a crush faster than working out with someone.

‘Not in a bad way! Just kinda like in a great way! ”It was finished!”

‘As you get to know it and it’s not like the person’s fantasy anymore. Now it’s Leo.’

In Nocturnal Animals, Amy’s character runs a successful art gallery in Los Angeles, but finds her life in disarray when her abandoned ex-husband sends her a violent book dedicated to him.

Jake Gyllenhaal plays the ex-husband, while Armie Hammer plays his character’s current spouse. Laura Linney makes a guest appearance as her snappy, cocktail-hungry mother.

Having previously screened at the Venice, Toronto BFI London film festivals, it is released in the United States on Friday.
