Willie Revillame is a Filipino television host, comedian, singer, actor, songwriter and prominent businessman. He is the former owner of W Bar and Wil Steak Town restaurants at Wil Events Place located near Wil Tower Mall and ABC-CBS along Stg. Esguerra Avenue in the South Triangle. He studied and graduated from Centro Escolar University.
Willie began his career as host of GMA Network’s midday variety program, Lunch Date, in the late 1980s. He began co-hosting the ABS-CBN midday show ‘Sang Linggo nAPO Sila,’ in 1998. After the cancellation of the show, began appearing in Richard Loves Lucy. In March 2015, he marked his return to GMA Network, his long-awaited return to Philippine showbiz and Philippine television.
Additionally, he was interviewed for the April 2015 episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho at his own home in Tagaytay City after signing a contract with GMA Network. During the interview, GMA 7 reporter Jessica Soho said she plans to build a 5-star hotel to be located within the 5-hectare land she acquired from the Madrigal family. Revillame’s rest house is also on the same plot.
