Ms. Culiner began her career on the country radio show, Scotty & Carissa, as a morning radio co-host. This was a show that aired on award winning station Clear 99 (KCLR-FM) in Columbia, Missouri. The morning show duo, Scotty & Carissa has won several awards, including the CMA Small Market Personality of the Year and the NAB Marconi Radio Award for Small Market Personality of the Year.

At the same time, Carissa also served as station television personality for Columbia’s FOX affiliate, KQFX. On-camera hosting became her main focus when she became anchor and managing editor for online news company, Newsy in 2012. At Newsy, Carissa was tasked with managing the company’s partnership with AOL, specifically focusing on AOL’s “Morning Rush” and “TV Replay” series. He also broadcasts for other companies that worked with Newsy, such as TIME Magazine and About.com.

Carissa has left Newsy and joined E! News in 2015 after discovering that her interests mainly centered on the camera. She became a correspondent for E! News and their digital series, E! News now.
