Ryan Cody is an American Emmy Award-winning journalist, currently the presenter of Today in AZ and a host of the Cardinals Locker Room. He joined the 12 News team in July 2016 and contributes to all 12 News shows and platforms. Cody is a two-time Emmy Award winner, a seven-time Associated Press Award winner and an Edward R. Murrow Award winner.
Cody is a proud graduate Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He is currently returning to hunt for Arizona where his family now lives.
Ryan began his career in the Texas plains covering high school football in Amarillo. His next move took him to Huntsville, Alabama where he sank into one of the most unique sports landscapes in the world.
In Alabama, Ryan covered dozens of college football games, four SEC Championship games, three National Championships and hundreds of other sporting events in the Tennessee Valley. Sports have taken him to a very new pace in his life, however, the family brings him back to where it all started.
When he’s not working, Ryan loves traveling, cooking, golf, food and football.
