Prince Harry appears to be homesick as sources suggest he plans to spend some meaningful family time on his next trip to the UK next month. The intention comes after several months of scathing remarks from Prince Harry towards his family in his provocative biography, ‘Spare’, published earlier this year.
Now it looks like he’s ready to put aside his differences and reconnect with his father, King Charles, his cousin Princess Eugenie and his friends back in his homeland.
In a conversation with OK! Magazine, an insider says Prince Harry’s visit to the UK isn’t just for a charity event next month; he is also considering another visit after the conclusion of the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf.
According to the source, “Harry has established a new home in California, but misses his friends in the UK dearly. His bond with his cousin Eugenie is particularly strong and he wants his children to bond closely with his younger ones. He sincerely wishes to reconnect with his family.”
The insider went on to say, “He’s realized that holding grudges is pointless, and he’s eager to move on.”
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe has also spoken out about the possibility of Prince Harry spending ‘family time’ during his UK visit and whether the Royal Family are open to his return.
Larcombe said: “Harry has been keeping a low profile…Harry and Meghan Markle have been keeping a low profile for several months, and this could be a good time for Harry to meet his father and strike up an adult conversation.”
He then clarified: “If this meeting takes place, it could be surprising, but it probably indicates that King Charles recognizes the need to address Harry’s situation, as it remains unresolved.”
Larcombe concluded: “I believe there is a way for Harry to reintegrate because the royals haven’t outright rejected him. They’ve taken away some privileges, but they haven’t responded to him in a publicly hostile way. Nevertheless , the road to reconciliation for Harry should be long and gradual.
