Kristina Audencial is a Filipino American Journalist who currently works as a reporter and Morning New Anchor at KSWB, Fox 5 in San Diego, California, United States. It took place at the station in October 2016.
Audencial is a proud high school graduate in Singapore. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from University of California, San Diego. Most notably, she began her career behind the scenes.
In 2006, he wrote and produced for local San Diego ABC affiliate KGTV. He later went on to KUSI and KSWB Fox 5, as a morning and weekend producer. Eventually, Audencial left San Diego to sign on as a general assignment reporter at KREX News Channel 5 in Grand Junction, Colorado. In addition, she shot, edited and produced her own stories.
After returning to San Diego, she worked as an anchor and reporter for UT TV. While there she had the privilege of starting her first morning newscast in San Diego. She also won her first Emmy Award for her reporting on the station.
After reporting for 2 and a half years, the station changed roles and now has her waking up with San Diego as the morning anchor.
