Shannon Ryan Biography
Shannon Ryan is an American journalist currently working as a crime reporter for Fox 7 Austin News. It reports weekdays at 4 and 5 p.m. and the Crimewatch program airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. Ryan began working at the station as a media reporter in April 2019. She worked at DCW50 and WDVM-TV as an anchor, producer and media reporter before coming to Austin.
In association with the Curley Center for Sports Journalism, he covered the 2016 US Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro for The Associated Press. Shannon anchored at Fox 29 Philadelphia in 2016 and covered the Democratic National Convention. Her work was recognized in the Hearst Multimedia News II competition.
Ryan also produced media content for the Catholic News Service during Pope Francis’ visits to Philadelphia and Washington, DC in 2015. She worked for the Big Ten Network as a sub reporter for StudentU while in college. He also worked at GoPSUsports.com.
