Kristin comes to KING-TV from Louisville, Kentucky, where she anchored the noon and 4 p.m. He chronicled a record year of gun violence in Kentucky, the police shooting of Breonna Taylor and the protests that followed, a historic tornado in Western Kentucky, COVID and those suffering from long-term symptoms.
While still a student at CSUF, she published an essay in Titan Magazine and interned at ABC 7 in Los Angeles, CA, as well as at a non-profit organization in Washington, DC. One of her most valuable experiences was her trip to the rainforests of Guatemala as MMJ’s foreign correspondent for CSUF, where she shared stories of adversity and optimism about Refuge International’s dedicated medical mission work.
Her career began at KPIC in Roseburg, Oregon, where I was one of the first reporters on the scene covering the Umpqua Community College Shooting in 2015. Soon after, she became the main evening anchor at KVAL/KMTR in Eugene, Oregon, where I gave the nightly news for two CBS and Fox affiliates.
