Interview with Kiera / staff

Director Aneesh Chaganty on Kiera

"Meet Kiera. You don't know it yet, but you will know it. "

How did Run happen?

"Yeah Yeah. It started in July of this year. It was
in fact the first day after completing an intensive six-week internship it was therefore
like the perfect timing. My manager proposed me for this role and I was asked
to audition on magnetic tape. So they sent me two scenes and I filmed them on one
iPhone, read them with my mom (laughs), then I got a Skype call with
the director and they made me do a second round of auto-tapes then i was
flew to Los Angeles for an audition in person and then my last lap I flew away
in Los Angeles to read with Sarah, who plays my mother, for a chemistry reading. And
so, in total, four sets of auditions. "
