Kevin O’Connor is an American television personality best known for hosting the PBS home renovation series This Old House since replacing Steve Thomas in 2003. Born in New Jersey, United States of America, he attended and graduated from Saint Benedict’s Preparatory School in Newark, New Jersey.
Later, he attended the College of the Holy Cross, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from Boston University in 1999. Kevin then worked at Fleet Bank as a Vice President in the Sports Finance group.
Later, he worked for Bank of America as a Senior Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate Group. Years later, the producer of This Old House approached him to become their new host after Steve Thomas left. He accepted the offer and became the new host.
In addition to This Old House, she has also hosted Ask This House and Inside This Old House. In September 2011, he debuted as the author of his first book, The Best Homes from This Old House.
