A month after she was spotted relaxing by the pool with her Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio in Saint-Tropez, Kate Winslet has dispelled rumors that the two were on vacation.
Kate Winslet in a new interview has opened up about recent viral footage in which she was seen relaxing by a swimming pool with her Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.
Shortly after the footage surfaced online in mid-August, fans began wondering whether or not there was something brewing between the two.
n fact, says Winslet, she was there for a fundraiser. “We weren’t on vacation at all!” the star told E!. “Leo did his annual fundraiser for the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation. He and I went together and we auctioned off a dinner party with Jack and Rose and actually raised $1.35 million. It was extraordinary.

The images showed DiCaprio, 42, and Winslet, 41, arm in arm, wearing swimsuits in the tropical French seaside town of Saint-Tropez.
Clearing up the rumours, Winslet, who has been married to businessman Ned Rocknroll since 2012, said: “I’ve never been on vacation with Leo!”
DiCaprio and Winslet starred opposite each other for the first time in the Oscar-winning blockbuster Titanic. They played a struggling married couple in 2009’s Revolutionary Road, directed by Winslet’s ex-husband Sam Mendes.
She previously opened up about the “unique” relationship she shares with DiCaprio in an interview with Glamour. “We know each other in a very unique way, I think, because of the experience we had on this film and having to take care of each other,” she explained.
