Meghan Markle Furious as John Cleese & Mark Dolan Tear Her Apart in Live News Broadcast

Enter John Cleese, the Monty Python legend known for not mincing his words. He recently took aim at GB News presenter Mark Dolan for his choice of words when discussing Meghan Markle. Dolan, in his podcast, referred to Meghan as “woko mono”, a derogatory nickname derived from “Yoko Ono”, suggesting that Meghan was a constant complainer, similar to the Beatles’ famous breakup catalyst.

Cleese, who has never been afraid of controversy, expressed his disdain for Dolan’s remarks, calling them appalling and calling GB News content “nasty, vulgar rubbish”. It’s clear that Cleese didn’t hold back when he expressed his disgust at the way Meghan was being treated.

But let’s delve a little deeper into this topic. Dolan’s choice of words didn’t stop at just a nickname. He went on to describe Meghan as a “scheming, cynical, money-hungry scammer” and called her and Harry “the Duke and Duchess of self-pity.” He also didn’t spare Harry, suggesting that meeting Meghan was the worst thing that ever happened to him.

The controversy does not end there. Lawrence Fox, another GB News guest, added fuel to the fire by making derogatory remarks about a female journalist, sparking outrage and leading to his suspension. GB News, in an attempt to salvage its reputation, suspended Fox and the host who failed to challenge Fox’s comments. Following the scandal, GB News apologized and promised a full investigation. But the damage was already done.

The incident not only tarnished the channel’s image, but also exposed the toxic atmosphere that seeped into discussions around Meghan and Harry. It should be noted that although GB News claims to stand for free speech, there is a fine line between free speech and outright vitriol.
