Dontae’ Raymon’ Ivory was born in Bellflower, California on August 10, 1987 to Wilbert Ivory Sr. and the boy was raised by his grandparents, Patricia Ivory. He grew up on Rosecrans Avenue, one of the culturally hip-hop areas of Los Angeles County. Ivory continued his education at Southwest Tennessee Community College and earned an associate degree. He then joined the LA Film School to enroll in film and media, which was the foundation of his career in the entertainment industry.
