Desiree Burch is an American actress, comedian and television host known for her roles in Jack in a Box, 2019, A Castle for Christmas (2021) and The Sandman (2022). She is also famous for narrating the Netflix show Too Hot to Handle and presenting Live At The Apollo. Additionally, she is known for her unique stand-up comedy set ups that mainly discuss her time as a sex worker.
Born in Diamond Bar, California, she attended Diamond Bar High School in her hometown. He then attended Yale University where he graduated with a BA in Theater Studies. After University, Burch moved to New York where she became a founding member of the New York Neo-Futurists.
He had the opportunity to perform regularly as a stand-up comedian and actor on the New York comedy circuit. In 2014, she moved to London where she gained wider recognition on television after winning the annual Funny Women. She later became the founding Artistic Director of Degrenate Fox Theatre.
As a TV presenter, she has hosted Flinch on Netflix since 2019. In 2020, she became the narrator for Too Hot to Handle still on Netflix. Later in May of that year, she appeared as a contestant on the BBC’s I’ll Get This. In January 2021, Bruch was a contestant on the BBC show Home Cooks.
