Ben Affleck opens up about Jennifer Garner and their children after backlash from previous comments
My life is better and the more I am with my children, the happier I am. We all want to pass on the best of ourselves to our children. I don’t care who you are I’m sure you feel like at some point in your life you made a mistake no one wants to transfer that to our children and it’s a real task to which everyone is faced with, regardless of these problems.
While Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck separated years ago, they continued to work together on co-parenting their children. There’s a clear respect shared between the two A-listers, who are focused on creating the best life for their family. Even if this family ends up being recomposed all along the line.
These original comments from The Howard Stern Show featured Ben Affleck admitting he self-medicated with alcohol while trying to stay married to Jennifer Garner despite the former couple’s misfortune. The internet quickly went up in flames, forcing Affleck to clarify his comments during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel. He previously spoke about the truth of Stern’s interview, saying:
And I looked at it, and they literally took a conversation I had for two hours and made it sound like I was saying the exact opposite of what I said. I went on and said how much we respect each other, care about each other, care about our kids and put them first. And they said I blamed my ex-wife for my alcoholism and I was trapped in this marriage. I just made myself the wor

Ever since Howard Stern’s snippet of the interview went viral, Ben Affleck and his current girlfriend Jennifer Lopez have had to respond to the comments. But given the trio of A-listers involved, those kinds of viral stories are sadly in the territory. Fortunately, it seems that there is no real conflict within the family.
