Yalda Hakim is a documentary filmmaker and award-winning foreign correspondent. He is currently the presenter of BBC World News’ flagship program Impact. He also reports regularly from the field for the BBC.
Her career began as a trainee journalist at SBS’s World News Australia. Yalda was a finalist for the Australian Young Journalist of the Year Award early on. In 2009, it received the United Nations Peace Prize for Australia’s Best Television News Coverage.
