Voice contestants: Destiny Rayne
"Where there is a will there is a way", well, nothing defines it more than a real talent and real difficulties in the world. When it comes to a platform to expose real talents, nothing is better than "The Voice". "The Voice" is actually an American singing competition broadcast on NBC every year for its 17th season, to find new singing talents not exposed across the country.
It is a platform and an opportunity for aspiring singers of 13 years or more to expose themselves to the entire nation showing their ability to generate changes in the music industry. Each of the contestants is chosen by their own specialty that makes them different from the others. The current panel of four coaches includes John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson.
Was there a double robbery for the first time in "The Voice"?
Destiny Rayne, one of the contestants of the 17th season of "The Voice", is currently the only contestant of the season for which the first robbery of the season was made, "the double robbery". On the episode of Tuesday October 15, 2019, the first robbery of season 17 took place during a battle episode between Katie Kadan and Destiny Rayne.
Destiny Rayne and Katie Kadan competed face to face singing "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John to be part of the coach team, John Legend. Legend declared that the battle was the best battle of the season so far.
But as said, the program must continue, only one should be chosen, without any option, John Legend chose Kadan explaining that he was the best artist that Rayne, but that was not all. The blow of the season was yet to come and nobody knew it would come too soon.
Although Rayne was rejected by Legend, his journey was not over yet since the other coaches were quite interested in her. When Destiny was about to leave, Blake made a quick and surprising gesture by pressing the "Steal" button happily that Destiny is his, but Gwen doubled by pressing his as well.
Now there was a real battle between the trainers, Blake and his girlfriend, Gwen, but Gwen was strong enough to tell him that he stole from Rayne even before he got to Blake.
Who is Destiny Rayne?
Destiny Rayne is a singer and songwriter who started singing at the age of 3 after being influenced by Selena Gomez's performance.
Destiny was raised by a single mother who put her in the musical theater after discovering her talent for singing at age eight. Rayne had even performed on "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" on Broadway Across America when he was 12 years old.
Rayne had even released an inspiring four-track EP, "His Instrument" in May 2017. Destiny is also a vocalist on a couple of inspiring tracks released by Ocean’s Edge. Her most recent video was a cover song by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber, "I Don ' t Care" with her and Jake Bonner, her fiancé.
Currently, Destiny resides in Nashville along with her fiance.
