Diamond is a WJHL nightly news anchor. He started as a weekend anchor at the station. She began her career as an Emmy-nominated reporter at KGAN in her hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He later worked at KACB (now KSAN) in San Angelo, KOTV in Tulsa and KLST in San Angelo. Her career in broadcasting has taken her on various journeys.
She’s donned firefighting gear, fought the “Firemen’s Challenge” and has turned her insides into an L-29 Delphin military aircraft. In 2010, she was nominated for an Emmy for Interactivity. He sat in on a carotid stenting procedure, tweeting viewers about the procedure and relaying observations from both the doctor and the patient. The highlight of the Tweet cast was speaking with the patient’s son in Michigan and exchanging messages between father and son.
She is constantly active in the Tri-Cities community. He is a founding member of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Tri-Cities Affiliate and also serves on the boards of Heisse Johnson Hand Up and SteppenStone Youth Treatment Services. She also volunteers for CASA, Children’s Miracle Network, March of Dimes and many other organizations.
