Randy Travis is an American country and gospel singer. He is also a songwriter, guitarist and actor. In addition, he has acted in several films such as Texas Rangers, Fire Down Below and The Million Dollar Kid.
Travis grew up on a rural farm and began singing as a child with his brother Ricky as The Traywick Brothers. In addition, he later won a Country Music singing contest at a club in Charlotte.
