Prince Harry’s Déjà Vu at Queen Mother’s Funeral

Prince Harry revealed in his memoir ‘Spare’ that attending the Queen Mother’s funeral in 2002 brought back traumatic memories of the funeral of his mother, Princess Diana.

The Duke of Sussex wrote that he felt shaken and filled with deja vu as he walked behind the gun carriage, dressed in a dark suit and with a downcast face, with his brother William at his side.

The sound of bagpipes intensified his feelings of grief and he began to shake.

The procession moved slowly through the city, from Westminster Abbey to St. George’s Chapel, and Harry couldn’t help but relive the grief of losing his mother again.
