Phil Keating is an American journalist currently working as a national correspondent for the Miami-based FOX News Channel. Keating is famous for covering various important stories and news updates, such as the death of Anna Nicole Smith and the long trial of Jose Padilla for murder. He previously worked as a presenter and lead reporter for KUSA News in Las Vegas, Denver and KDVR News in Colorado.
Keating attended a local high school in his hometown and later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication from University of Missouri in Columbia.
After graduating, he began his career as a journalist in 1990 working as a trainee reporter and photographer for WMAZ News in Georgia. After serving on WMAZ, he left the station to join WBNS-TV in Columbus, Ohio as a correspondent. He also worked at KHQ TV in Spokane.
Keating then joined the news on KUSA NBC 9 in Denver for two years before joining the Fox News Channel. He joined the FNC in 2014 and has since covered the latest breaking news around Florida during the 2020 US presidential election. In addition, he has delivered several news updates on several hurricanes such as Hurricanes Michael, Irma and Issac.
