People think Kim Kardashian West photoshopped this photo from 19 years ago
Of all the things in Photoshop, an old family photo is probably one of the most unexpected. And yet, that’s what some people think Kim Kardashian West did with her latest comeback pic. On Wednesday, the reality TV star took to her Twitter and Instagram with a bit of ’90s nostalgia. She uploaded a photo of herself and her siblings Rob and Kourtney – sporting fabulous baby bangs – smiling with their late father Robert Kardashian from 1999. But if we are to believe some of the mentions of Kardashian West, not all of the photos are so far back. Some fans accuse him of photoshoping his nose, due to a bit of blurring around the area.
“Omg, did Kim really photoshoot her nose ????” reads in response number one below her tweet, along with a string of other responses echoing the sentiment. Some Twitter users have even attached close-ups of the area in question which indeed appear to show a bit of blur. Others, however, believe the blur is simply from scanning a 19-year-old photo, with a few Twitter users reporting other blurry areas in the photo, including Robert Kardashian’s chin. Which seems like a reasonable theory until one Twitter user @jotomasloco suggests these areas are photoshopped as well.

So, to quote Oprah, what’s the truth?
Only Kim knows, and she hasn’t commented on the mystery. But to be fair, she shouldn’t have to, because in the long run it really doesn’t matter to begin with. She is free to do with her photos what she wants. Also, a person with their level of visibility will always be subject to unsolicited opinions and speculation about what, in the grand scheme of things, are not issues. And you too, Kim.
This isn’t the first time the makeup mogul has been accused of having photoshopped his photos. In April, she proved unbelievers wrong by uploading multiple bikini photos to show that she hadn’t altered her vacation photos. And just two weeks earlier, she had to respond to what might be the most ridiculous Photoshop charge yet: that she had digitally altered a car. In the photo in question, the car to his right looks strangely thin.
“I reposted a photo on Instagram that a fan had previously posted – I only added a filter to it. Looks like the fan has mirrored the photo, which is why the car looks like this “, she wrote on her blog. “So that’s really, really funny to me! Who would even Photoshop a car to look like this?! LOL.” Excellent question, Kim!
