Previously, he worked at KNSD, the NBC affiliate in San Diego as a general assignment reporter, covering a mix of breaking news, health, investigative and consumer stories.
Prior to that, Charles served as a reporter/anchor at WPEC, the CBS station in West Palm Beach, Florida. While there, he covered high-profile stories including Hurricane Dorian, the Parkland School shooting, President Trump’s visits to Mar-a-Lago, the prostitution arrest of Patriots owner Robert Kraft. and the Florida midterm election rerun.
Niala began her journalism career reporting for KTTC, the NBC/Fox duopoly in Rochester, MN. While there, he investigated discipline disputes in Minnesota schools.
