Nazmul Hassan Papon is a famous politician, businessman and cricket organizer from Bangladesh. He is a director of the Beximco Group and current Chairman of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. Papon is a member of parliament of Kishoreganj-6 constituency. In fact, he just highlighted the best cricketers in Bangladesh, including Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyadh, went on strike to demand an 11 point claim and boycotted all cricket activities until their request is satisfied.

Nazmul Hassan Papon was born on May 31, 1961 in the northern Bhairab River, in the Bhairabpur region of Kishoreganj, Bangladesh, from parents Zillur Rahman and Ivy Rahman. He was born into a family of political background. His father, Zillur Rahman, was President of Bangladesh from 2008 to 2013 until his death and was a prominent member of the Awami League Presidium, a prominent political party in Bangladesh. Papon's mother was the women's secretary of the Awami League, who was killed in the 2004 Dahaka grenade attack.
He earned an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration of Dhaka University. Papon has two sisters named Tania Bukth and Toni Rahman.

Nazmul Hassan Papon is a director of the Beximco Group and General Manager of Beximco Pharmaceutical Limited and Shinepukur Ceramics Limited. In 2012, he was elected President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, chaired by AHM Mustafa Kamal.
He criticized Shakib Al Hasan for discipline issues and suspended cricket for a few days. He is a member of the parliament of Kishoreganj-6 constituency. Papon became president of the Asian Cricket Council in 2018.
