Meghan Markle Accepts Archie’s Skin-Colour Comment Wasn’t Racist

According to sources cited by The Telegraph, Meghan Markle has acknowledged in written correspondence with King Charles that she does not believe concerns expressed about her son Archie’s skin color were meant to be malicious or racist.

This was after she and Prince Harry gave an explosive interview to Oprah Winfrey in 2021, in which Meghan claimed a senior royal raised concerns about Archie’s skin color.

It has since been reported that King Charles was the only senior royal to contact Meghan after the interview.

The Duchess of Sussex wrote a letter to the monarch shortly after the interview, discussing unconscious racial bias within the royal family.

Although Meghan did not reveal the name of the royal who raised concerns during the Oprah interview, she reportedly revealed the name in her correspondence with King Charles and thanked him for his response.

However, according to insiders, Meghan has since changed her views and now believes the comment about Archie’s skin color was indeed racist.
