Matt Maisel is an American journalist currently working as the communications director for the city of Harrisburg since March 2022. Prior to that, he worked as a news reporter and anchor at WPMT-FOX43 from April 2015 to March 2022.
Maisel attended and graduated from Susquehanna Township High School, where his classmates had him do the morning news and sports shows at home. He went on to graduate from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism in 2007.
Prior to joining FOX43, he spent more than seven years as a sports reporter and sports director at WJAC-TV in Johnstown, PA. While there, he wrote about the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal at Penn State.
