Matt Barrie has been an Emmy Award-winning American sportscaster for ESPN's SportsCenter since joining the network in March 2013. He currently co-hosts ESPN College Football with analysts Joey Galloway and Jesse Palmer on Thursday pretime pre-show and halftime show. Previously, Barrie worked for various stations including WLTX-TV, KXAS, WJFW-TV and KSWO-TV. He is also a golf commentator for ESPN's coverage of the Masters and PGA Championships.

Born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States, Matt attended school at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. There he graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. In addition, he was inducted into the school's Alumni Hall of Fame in 2020. Shortly after graduation, Barrie began his professional career as a reporter for WJFW-TV in Wausau, Wisconsin.
